Wendon Yachts are known for their stunning designs, layouts, equipment, interior décor and styling with creature comforts beyond compare.  Built in Sidney BC, Canada, this custom and production builder of quality yachts focused on providing a fast, economical, stable and luxurious motor yacht. 

The Wendon 480 is based on a highly successful Tollycraft designed hull, therefore offering luxury, ease of handling, and performance that must be experienced to be appreciated.  Reliable Caterpiller propulsion and electronic control systems matched to a solidly built and proven hull ensures that this is a reliable, seaworthy vessel with exceptional economy and performance.

The master helm resides in the raised Pilothouse and features full instrumentation, controls and displays. Ample room is provided for charts and other reference material. Next to the Pilothouse table and settee a sturdy ladder/staircase rises to the Command Bridge. 

The bright open salon is finished in-house in beautifully detailed, cherry wood décor, joinery and cabinetry and is much what you would expect to find in mega-yacht styling, airy and spacious. The tinted windows let in plenty of light while also preserving privacy.  A spacious cockpit is accessed by a large sliding glass door from the main salon and leads to the swim deck boarding platform at dock level. 

The breathtaking Galley is forward on the same level, but partially separated from the salon by a cherry paneled island and overhead china cabinet with built in custom cut glass artwork. The gourmet galley is fitted with a 7 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer, electric 3 burner ceramic range top, a full size convection/microwave oven and Corian solid surface counter tops and sink. Drawer and cabinet storage is abundant, and the quality is hard to compare. The cook can work efficiently and still be a part of the social scene. 

The lower accommodations level is accessed via a delightful spiral staircase starboard of the main helm. At the foot of the staircase the VIP Stateroom is forward and the Master Stateroom is aft. The Master Stateroom berth is positioned about dead center of the yacht where the motion is least. Both staterooms feature queen-size berths, efficient use of lighting, aromatic cedar lined closets and ensuites with showers and Vacuflush heads. The storage is impressive in each stateroom.

The engine room - entered from the aft deck - is the heart of the Wendon 480. The generator provides ample power and is enclosed in a sound shield cabinet for a very quiet operation and has just 575 hours. Powered by Twin 420 hp Caterpillar 3126 turbo diesels with just 1018 hours the 480 performance pilothouse yacht cruises comfortably at around 16 knots. The clean, orderly and spacious engine room clearly makes a statement of integrity for Wendon Yachts.
