So, I noticed that it’s only been 9 months since I added anything to the blog. Sorry for the dissapearing act – but it was a pretty tough Fall / Winter this past year for the Boat Sales industry. No denying that.

With warmer weather, and the change in perceptions about the apocolyptic end of our financial way of life, springs hope and boating!

BananaBelt Boats has seen a good surge in boat sales over May and June, carrying in to July.

Dan Byrd had a record 6 boats sell in just 2 weeks! WOW!

What was not selling, now is! 4788 Bayliners (you know -the Pilot House that you will one day own here in the Pacific Northwest as it is THE perfect boat for cruising up here!) – we didn’t sell one for over a year. Yes, the largest used yacht broker in the Pacific Northwest (us…) didn’t sell the most popular boat up here for that long… Then came May thru July of 2009… It’s mid way through July and we’ve sold 6 of them in 90 days! WOW ! talk about a turnaround!

It’s not too late for you to join in, we’ve got 2 very well priced and beautifully kept 4788’s – 1 with Hinos, 1 with Cummins… check out our Website and talk with us about how we can make this dream a reality for you.

I know, I’m not supposed to be commercial in these blog posts, but hey, we like to toot our own boat horn now and then – and we want to work with you, our friends and fellow boaters to help you better your boating experience.

So, since I’ve turned this into a commercial – I’m going to wrap this post up with the promise that more substantive information is on it’s way.

Happy Boating!

Matthew

Think about it. You’ve always dreamed of having your own boat. Going anywhere you want. Seeing the splendor of the San Juans and probably beyond.

Owning a boat is the ultimate freedom. The chance to get away on your own and set your own agenda and live your life.

Trouble is, with “reality” rearing it’s ugly head in the form of higher fuel costs and now credit fears fueld by over zealous “journalists” on TV and radio – it’s like they are trying to steal your dream.

Don’t let them.

See past the fear mongering and the election ballyhoo and credit crisis – Live YOUR life.

Buy that boat NOW. Prices are good, lenders are lending (with 20% down and good credit), and Sales Tax is still deductable again this year (thanks to an ear mark in the Emergency Act of 2008).

We’re here to help you 24/7 – just give us a call and let’s discuss how to get you the boat of your dreams today.

Matthew
